Welcome to Whiskey River...

Whiskey River Kitchen takes its name from the Whiskey River Ranch, where many of our farm-fresh eggs come from. The ranch is a place of natural beauty, peace, and a slower pace of life. It's a reminder that the simplest things are often the most meaningful. That same spirit goes into every order from Whiskey River Kitchen: a little taste of homesteading, and made to bring a moment of peace and comfort to your day.

About the bakery.

Whiskey River Kitchen started with a simple idea: to share the warmth of scratch-made, gluten-friendly baking with friends and neighbors. Every loaf, muffin, and pastry is made with care, using simple ingredients, and a touch of homestead charm. All inspired by life on the ranch and the joy of slowing down to savor good food and good moments. Our kitchen is located in Howard, WI. Follow us on social media to meet the animals, see what’s cookin' and get a peek behind the scenes of our little kitchen.

About the ranch.

Tucked along the peaceful Oconto River, the ranch is home to a simpler way of life, full of natural beauty and open space. Owned by my aunt and uncle, it’s the kind of place where you feel at home the moment you arrive, and where the love they put into the land and animals is felt in everything around you. The ranch is located in Cecil, WI. Follow us on social media to see more of the animals, the river, and daily life on the homestead.

Meet the animals.

Life on the ranch is full of personality with our little family of four-legged and feathered friends. Polish hens "Priscilla and the Whiskey Chicks" keep us entertained with their antics, our Gypsy Vanner horse, Waylon, is the star of the barn, the three alpaca brothers are always up to something playful, and our miniature donkies bring lots of laughs, including the occasional stall escape. They teach us patience, joy, and the simple pleasures of everyday life. Follow us on social media to see what they’re up to!

Whiskey River Ranch brings the homestead experience to life, where family, animals, and the quiet rhythm of the land create the slower pace and calm we all crave.
